Politika member

Politika consists of about 30 members who keep our association running. See what such a mandate means here!

To be able to provide all these beautiful events, courses and cheap drinks, Politika consists of 30 members. These are elected by the students in Politika's circle elections, and include a 1-year mandate. Our team is divided into different working groups, each with its own tasks, so the workload is limited so that you can fully focus on your studies at the same time.

What are circular elections?

In the first week after the Easter holidays, Politika organizes new circular elections. During this week, several "selection teams" will be organizing and making promo at those events to prove that they are able to represent the students in the academic year that follows.

At the end of this week, students can vote for their favorite team. If a team obtains the most (and sufficient) votes, this team will be elected Politika of the following academic year.

How do I become a member of a Cadidate Team?

Dialing teams start their recruitment in the second semester. To this end, we organize information sessions, where you will receive more information about the different electoral teams and how you can join them. At the bottom of this page you will find some useful links, keep an eye on them!

Can I join without participating in election week?

During our working year, the Politika circle meeting is allowed to co-opt a few people. That means they vote you in it without you being directly elected by the students. So do you want to become a member throughout the year, or do you just want more information? Send us an email via info@politika.be, send us on Facebook or use our contact form!

Please note that the circle can only do a few co-optations, so there is a limit on the number of members they allow to join during the year of operation.
